Meet Enzo Puzzovio
Enzo Puzzovio is a multi-instrumentalist and singer who specializes in historic strings and ethnic music as a performer, researcher, and speaker. With a robust collection of medieval instruments including hammered dulcimer, hurdy-gurdy, lute, cittern, orpharion, baroque mandolino and colascione, his dedication to period authenticity shines in all his recordings. Enzo has recorded numerous albums with Grynwode, Prego, and under his stage-name "Dante Ferrara". He actively performs with Duo Piccolo e Grande.
Straightfoward instrument with high quality sounding. It's super fun to play and sounds beautiful. The upgraded verion seems to have fixed what bothered me the most which was the dynamics, where the lower velocities sounding too low, but may be just impression. Unfortunately there's one of the samples that bothers me a little because seems like it produces to notes on one "stroke". It can be some characteristic of the instrument that I don't know or some unwanted bounce in the performance, I don't know. The good thing is that if it doesn't repeat too much, it gives more variety and human touch to the song.
This is a great sounding instrument does what it says on the tin.
The Enzo Hammered Dulcimer can fit very nicely in a variety of tracks. I can see it working well understating an action cue or playing a subdued melody in an emotional cue.
Really great sound!
